Effect of Xanthigen on waistline
Xanthigen reduced both body weight and waist circumference in study subjects. These results were significant compared to placebo. While the subjects had similar weight, height, and age, the two groups we were analyzed separately based upon the liver fat percentage rather than together.
Xanthigen effectively reduces body weight
The participants in the study lost significant weight, although the time at which they first lost a significant amount differed. The study subjects with normal livers lost significant (compared to placebo) weight after 6 weeks. Those with a higher amount of liver fat lost significant weight after 8 weeks. Importantly, the body weight loss was preceded by significant decreases in the liver fat content, seen below. This interesting finding is discussed in How does Xanthigen work?
Reduced liver fat content precedes body fat loss
Arrows indicate when statistically significant differences in body weight were first recorded in the human clinical study. Xanthigen first helped the liver to shed fat. This was followed by statistically significant body fat reduction a week later.
Xanthigen increases metabolism
Xanthigen increased the metabolic rate of participant after 5 weeks! Since this measurement indicates how many calories the body burns at a basic rate, when not exercising, Xanthigen causes subjects to burn more calories even when resting compared to those taking placebo. For this portion of the experiment, all of the subjects were considered together because their measurements were similar at the start and end point within their treatment group. Xanthigen was most effective at doses of 600mg and 1000mg. Since the effects were almost the same at 600mg and 1000mg, 600mg was considered the optimal dose.
