Xanthigen Use and Safety

  • Xanthigen is made from foods which are extracted using a safe, accepted manufacturing process. These ingredients are incorporated into Xanthigen at a level that acceptable and safe for people to take every day. Of course, eating pomegranates and seaweed every day would be inconvenient and imprecise in the amounts of active compounds delivered. Xanthigen conveniently provides certified amounts of the actives punicic acid and fucoxanthin.

  • Xanthigen is non-stimulating and safe. Unlike many slimming products, it doesn’t have any adverse effects in the liver, blood pressure, or nervous system. In fact, all the data so far indicate that Xanthigen promotes health in addition to aiding in slimming. A clinical study investigating Xanthigen reported no safety concerns and no adverse effects in 151 volunteers. These volunteers were monitored three times per week for a period of 16 weeks, at the recommended dosage. Of the numerous health measurements monitored, none were adversely affected by Xanthigen and several were greatly improved! For more information, see the Research Section.

Effects of Xanthigen on Cell Health and DNA

Xanthigen is safe for use and does not damage cells or their DNA. Very large doses of Xanthigen did not cause any cell irregularities, poor functioning or cell death in an in vivo model.

Using a procedure called the Ames test, researchers tested whether Xanthigen could mutate DNA in bacteria. This procedure is commonly used to make sure a product is not a mutagen. Even at very high doses, Xanthigen did not cause any mutations. This adds to the evidence that Xanthigen is safe to take for an extended period.
